Interpol, the international criminal police organization which is originated from the idea to establish a mutual police cooperation mechanism in order to struggle more effectively, permanently and quickly, against international crime and criminals; was established firstly in 1914 in Monaco with the participation of police and judicial members of 14 countries in the first International Criminal Police Assembly, with the formation of international criminal police commission in Vienne in 1923, it acquired a formal statue. In 1946 the centre of Interpol moved to Paris from Vienne and it's name was changed to Interpol which briefly refers to International Criminal Police Organization. Finally in 1989 the center once again moved to Lyon and it still carries on its facilities in there.
